Duck Duck Bruce

Bruce is not your typical duck, and that is exactly the point. In Duck, Duck, Bruce!, Bruce is the only one in his flock who will not follow the leader, fly in a neat V formation, or do things the same way as everyone else. Instead, he waddles through life in his own style, with plenty of repetition, wordplay and visual humour along the way. As Bruce’s flock tries to keep everything orderly, a big bad wolf appears with tricks of her own. When the danger closes in, Bruce’s different way of thinking might be what saves the day. Warm, funny and classroom-friendly, this picture book opens up gentle conversations about neurodiversity, identity, belonging and self-determination.
