Blood & Steel

Blood & Steel by Helen Scheuerer is a romantasy set in Thezmarr, where an elite guild of warriors protects the five kingdoms and women are forbidden to wield blades. Althea (Thea) has trained in secret her whole life, and with her death foretold she has just three years to earn a place among the legends. Thrown into brutal trials and deadly initiation tests, Thea is assigned a brooding, powerful warrior chaperone, Wilder Hawthorne. Their sparring and the guild’s hazing push her to the edge, while a slow-burn attraction complicates everything. With schemes unfolding and darkness gathering, Thea must fight for her future before it is stolen away. Useful additional information Author: Helen Scheuerer Series: Legends of Thezmarr, Book 1
