The Silversmith

Grieving the sudden, mysterious deaths of her father and brother, Ary Gold is scraping by on sheer determination in the icy wilds of the North when strangers arrive with news that changes everything. They speak of long-lost magic, royal blood, and a realm called Nyrida sliding towards war. A shadow wielder is rising, intent on smothering the world in corrupted darkness, and Ary is told she is the only one who can stop him. Promised in marriage to a powerful commander whose army may be her best chance of victory, Ary is also assigned a trainer: a dangerous, secretive man who is not her betrothed, but who quickly becomes her greatest complication. As Ary’s own power begins to awaken, desire and duty collide, and the cost of choosing love could be catastrophic. Useful additional information Title: The Silversmith
