Weekend 2

A weekend away in the Yorkshire Dales is meant to be a chance for six friends to switch off and catch up. But when a storm forces them to shelter at the entrance of an old lead mine, they stumble across a backpack stuffed with more cash than any of them has ever seen. At first, the plan is simple: hand it in to the police as soon as they can. Then the weather closes in, time stretches out, and the group’s private pressures start to surface. With debt, obsession and careers on the line, the money begins to look less like a problem to report and more like a solution to take. As trust fractures, the weekend spirals into deceit, betrayal and murder. Useful additional information Author: T.M. Logan
